but the air thick with pollen was terrible
her nose seemed to drip
with her tissue in grip
she raced home for some air that was breathable

I agree with the idea of listening to your body and being observant of reactions you might have to different foods and drinks. I don't like the concept of eating and drinking with reckless abandon and suffering consequences and taking various medications to alleviate the symptoms.
my last topic was 4 months ago about the 2 months of downers i'd gone through.
so here i am into 6 months of it.
i have gone through so much in such a short space of time.
Loubelle,
It's good to hear from you again and I know that many will say " don't feel that way try to be happy". Looking at life realistically can be disturbing and i think pretty flowers and beautiful sunsets really don't make up for all the bad stuff and it's easy to snowball into what's the use. However, what i do is tell myself that i'm going to use what time I have to continue my personal quest for the real truth about life whatever it might be. I don't know whose idea it really was to set everything in motion I'm looking at myself as an archeologist of life and everyday i chip away at the available information and try to analyze it as objectively as I can. Sometimes I take a break and watch some show on tv or go out to dinner and then I get back to it. I'm telling you this because i don't want you to feel alone in your thoughts and feelings we're all in the same mysterious boat w/o a paddle trying to figure out what's going on. Try not to let it get you down recognize it for what it is and spit at it make a path for yourself and do whatever you think might inspire or entertain you.

There's nobody more fun to drink with than Jimmy Buffet I like his song "boat drinks"
just wondering has there ever been a definitive article responding to this or a similar q ?.
I think a disembodied hand appears and writes messages on the wall
eenie meanie chile beanie the spirits are about to talk
If i eat gluten it won't kill me but if a little bit gets in i usually can tolerate it but if i start eating pizza or bread than i will have constant acid reflux so it's not celiac exactly but it's how sick do I want to be. I want to feel good w/o medications so I choose to be careful. It's true that sometimes waiters and waitresses get moody about it but it's my body and I'm trying to limit my gluten intake and still enjoy an evening out and we always tip well for extra consideraion.
this is the second time i've ordered an iced tea and gotten cold......well, tea.. am i supposed to add my own sugar?.
.
Wherever you travel in the states the rules are different for alot of small things. For example in some places they don't bag your groceries or offer to help you to your car in other places they automatically do it. In some places you order tea you get it hot not cold and some places it's sweetened and others it's not. When i was young not a JW I went to college in a different state and got a partime job at a bakery on my first day a man walked in and ordered a dozen rolls and i had been raised to call donuts donuts and rolls were bread items like hamburger rolls so I said "we don't have any rolls". He looked at me like I was crazy because unbeknownst to me they called donuts rolls in that part of the states. Where I came from a soda was coke or 7up but there soda's had ice cream in them So it can be confusing for sure.

WOW!
They are all so beautiful.
what are the unwritten rules and standards that make some people here cool, others not.. saying "just be yourself" is a lie!
i see many people being themselves who start an interesting thread and have 6 comments (5 being their own), while others post "cheeseburgers" and the thread last for days.
lol.. .
there once was a poster who felt cool
although the site seemed to have some rule
not everyones game
turned out just the same
so there must be some unspoken cool rule
i'm gluten free and fairly careful with what i eat. i've found some delicious gluten free cheese ravioli "what a treat".
